Following a planning process that began in late 2011, the CRS tonight began safety patrols in the area around the River Lagan in Belfast City Centre. This is the first step in an ongoing process to provide assistance to those in difficulty in that area. The CRS Belfast Unit is currently leading the way in providing this service in support of the police and other emergency services with the support of CRS members from around the province. Community Rescue Service - Belfast Unit

We have been shortlisted for the Lloyds Banking Group Community Fund 2013. The selected charities for the Lloyds Community Fund go onto a public vote, running from Monday 23 September to Friday 1 November 2013.
